5th Online Vedic Mathematics Conference 2019

The 5th online Vedic Mathematics conference hosted and organized by Vedic Maths Academy and Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics was held on 16th March, 2019.
The conference had four unique segments:
Research Papers
Workshops
Global Projects, and
Vedic Mathematics Experience
The conference started with a welcome note from Swati Dave, IAVM, which was followed by the report on the 3rd International Vedic Mathematics Conference at Bangalore by James Glover, IAVM.

There were fascinating workshops on
Divisibility by Anna Foglino
Magic Squares by the young Ram Godbole,
Factorising Quadratic Equations by James Glover, and
Outlining the use of each of the 16 Sutras in solving equations by Ken Williams
Global projects were presented by
Sivaram Pusapati from Japan,
Ike Prudente from Philippines, and
Anna Foglino from Italy
It was inspiring to learn of the wonderful initiatives being put forward by these people.
The following presenters shared their Vedic Mathematics experiences
Santosh from India,
Raghavendra from India,
Bhattacharjee from India, and
Lokesh Tayal from Singapore who showcased his impressive Math2Shine website.
Ken Williams presented two research papers
Exploring chapter 22 of Tirthaji’s book on Factorisation and Differential Calculus, and
Evaluation of Permutations and Combinations
As a closing remarks, Swati presented the impressive future plans from the IAVM including an August conference in Hyderabad and teacher training events in Bangalore, Delhi, South Africa and the Philippines.
2019 is clearly going to be a busy and eventful year for Vedic Mathematics.
